The 350-601 DCCOR exam tests candidates’ knowledge of implementing core data center technologies, including security, automation networks, compute, and storage networks. Cisco offers official training, but candidates may elect to study independently if they wish. Cisco offers many self-study references on the Cisco Learning Network.
Cisco offers two test-taking options. The candidate may schedule the exam at one of their convenient, secure locations. Alternatively, the candidate may take the test online or anywhere in a highly secure environment. The exam is 120 minutes long and is associated with the CCIE and CCNP Data Center Certifications. The exam certifies a highly-valued certification that can help enhance the candidate’s career options and benefit the company for which he or she is employed.
In the instructor-led training, five days are spent in the classroom with hands-on lab practice and the equivalent of three days of self-paced material. Virtual instructor-led training also lasts five days, but this is on web-based classes with hands-on lab practice and the equivalent of three days of self-paced materials. E-learning includes eight days of content with videos, practice, and challenges.
The training course helps candidates prepare for the exam and offers certifications for advanced-level data center roles. It helps candidates conquer the technologies and skills needed to gain hands-on experience in maintaining, operating, deploying, and securing Cisco data center infrastructure, including Cisco MDS Switches and Nexus Switches, their Unified Computing System, B-Series Blade Servers, and Cisco ICS C-Series Rack Servers. This course also earns candidates 64 Continuing Education credits towards their recertification.
The exam is divided into five categories. About 25% is dedicated to network, and another 25% to compute. Approximately 20% is devoted to storage network solutions, with automation and security taking up around 15% of the exam.
